Dirt is moving on Jefferson’s south athletic fields! Since the Jefferson Groundbreaking Ceremony in May, our construction team has been hard at work preparing the site for construction. Crews are out now using excavators to level the soil and remove obstructions on the athletic fields. This work will create a flat area on which the foundations and drainage infrastructure for the fields can be constructed.

Since the groundbreaking ceremony in June, our team has been hard at work preparing the site for construction and moving furniture and other materials to Marshall Campus. Earlier this month, our building partner, Skanska, took control of the site as salvage and deconstruction activities officially began.
