Oversight and Accountability
Transparency, fairness and accountability are core principles that guide the bond program. Robust accountability measures are in place to make sure the program is efficiently meeting its goals and obligations.
Bond program staff report regularly to the PPS School Board, Facilities Improvement and Oversight Committee and Bond Accountability Committee.
Bond Accountability Committee
The Bond Accountability Committee (BAC) reviews bond-funded projects and offers advice to the PPS School Board on, among other priorities, if bond funds are being used properly, efficiently and in alignment with the district’s strategic goals.
Bond Performance Audits
Regular financial and performance audits are completed by an independent party and presented to the Bond Accountability Committee and PPS School Board.
