Fire Sprinklers and Alarms
Over $25 million of work on fire sprinkler systems and upgraded fire alarms were funded by the 2017 bond. This work is now complete.
Upgrades brought sprinkler and alarm systems up to current life safety codes. Schools received the following upgrades, as needed:
- Sprinkler system installation or expansion
- Sprinkler head upgrades
- Piping upgrades and backflow prevention
- Connection of flow switches to fire alarm systems
